We have a special visitor in our class room this week.  His name is KinderBear.  KinderBear is a traveling teddy bear who is traveling around the United States to see what Kindergarten is like throughout the country.  We are enjoying our special guest and are showing him all around our school.

Today, KinderBear and the Kindergarten Plus students went to the Library for Specialist time.  Mrs. Hemsey read us a great Mercer Mayer story called "Me, Too!"  Then we got to check out new books.  We had lots of fun showing KinderBear how we check out books!

In Math we did some more sorting.  Today we sorted bugs on the pocket chart and did workplaces, too.

In Science we are learning about the parts of trees.  Be sure to ask us what the parts of a tree are!

It was another excellent day in Kindergarten!

Love, Mrs. Kurt
