Fine Motor Tubs and Trees

Happy Thursday!

It was another great day in Kindergarten Plus!  We spent some time this morning working on our fine motor tubs.  This helps us to make our hand and eye muscles stronger.  Each table participates in different activities, such as Wrist Twist, Play Dough, Tiny Tweezers, Stacking Cubes and the Creep Track.  It was fun trying new activities today.

In Math, we worked on a graph of bugs based on the number of legs each bug has.  We learned that a praying mantis has six legs, too.

For part of our Science lesson, we made a cool tree project.  We glued tissue paper pieces on a piece of construction paper for leaves and used a straw to blow brown paint on the paper to make the tree trunk and branches.  It was lots of fun!
