100th Day of School

HI - HO, HI-HO.
WE CAME TO SCHOOL,
AND WE'RE SO COOL!
HI-HO, HI-HO!

Well, believe it or not, today we celebrated the 100th Day of School!  It has been so amazing to witness the growth in these kindergartners in the past 100 school days.  I can't wait to see how their progress continues to soar in the next few months.  Today we took some fun photos in our photo booth, shared the bags of 100 items we brought for sharing, made 100th day head bands, and did a fun math activity that included skip counting by tens.  We had a fun day...enjoy some pictures of our day.

Happy 100th Day of School!

And, of course, one with our silly faces.

Sledding Fun

Monday afternoon was beautiful, sunny and very cold...but it did not stop the kindergartners from enjoying a fun filled time sledding on the hill behind Northview.  Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Mueller had us get all bundled up, gave us some last minute safety instructions, and we were off to the hill.  We had an absolute blast.  What a fun way to get some great exercise and fresh air.  Thanks, Mr. Nelson and Mrs. Mueller for a very fun P.E. class!

Drop Everything And Read

Wednesday afternoon we participated in D.E.A.R. time in our classroom...Drop Everything And Read!  We did this in honor of I Love To Read Month.  All students earned 20 minutes of reading time to add to their reading slips for the reading contest.  A fun way to celebrate reading!
