First and Last Day of Kindergarten

Just look at these beautiful children.  This was how they looked at the beginning of kindergarten...

…and here is how they looked on the last day.

It has been a great year.  Best of luck to each of you in First Grade!

Last Day

It sure looks a lot different around here this afternoon.  Kind of quiet…a little too quiet for me.  Have a great summer!!

Outside Lunch

Such a beautiful day today!  Why wouldn't we have a picnic lunch outside?  It was so much fun and the kids really enjoyed it.  A big thanks to our kitchen staff and Mr. Ball for making it happen!

Kindergarten Celebration

On Monday morning, all four of the kindergarten classes met outside for a kindergarten celebration.  There were bubbles, chalk, hula hoops, jump ropes, the playground equipment and most importantly all our kindergarten friends.  We also got a special freezie treat, too.  Enjoy some photos from this fun time.

Congratulations, Ms. Kieltyka!

I am so proud of these kindergartners.  They were able to pull off a very sweet surprise this morning.  We had a surprise baby shower for Ms. Kieltyka.  She and her husband Joseph are expecting their first child in late July!

Ms. Kieltyka opened the gifts we gave her.  We actually wrote her a book of baby advice and gave her a few fun items related to The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Curious George.

Mrs. Radermacher picked up some yummy cookies with pink and blue frosting.  We chose a cookie and then tallied our predictions for what they baby will be.

We are so excited for Mr. and Ms. Kieltyka.  Congratulations!  We can't wait to meet your little one when we are first graders!!!

Thank You, Mrs. Stalsberg!

I would like to take this opportunity to give a "shout out" to Mrs. Kristine Stalsberg.  Mrs. Stalsberg, or Mrs. S. as the kids sometimes call her, has been part of our kindergarten team since mid April.  She has been covering Mrs. Dietrich's maternity leave.  Over the past few weeks, Mrs. Stalsberg has been an important part of our kindergarten community, helping out whenever and wherever we need it and has been just great to all of the students.  She will be with us through the end of the school year.  Thank you, Mrs. Stalsberg, for being a great coworker and part of our kindergarten community!
