We have been really working on our Managed Independent Learning time since we returned from Winter Break. During this time, learners learn to be independent while participating in activities. They are learning how to be responsible for moving their own sticks in the pocket chart, looking at the chart and knowing which activity to complete, and how to use their time wisely. This is definitely a work in progress and we are currently working to build our stamina in this area.
Our activities this week include Word Work, Buddy Reading, Listening, Art, SMART Board and Conference with Teacher. These activities can change from week to week. I hope you enjoy these photos of our Kindergarten Managed Independent Learners! I am so proud of them.
