More With Fabric

Today we learned about soiling fabric.  Soiling means to make it dirty.  Boy, did we ever!  Mrs. Kurt gave us each a piece of fabric called muslin.  Then she put out wooden sticks, ketchup, mustard and chocolate syrup.  We stained the fabric with these sauces and hung the fabric up to dry.

 

Tomorrow we are going to see what happens when we try to clean the fabric.  We will use soap, water and scrub brushes.  Stay tuned to see what happens!
