Tasting Apples and Graphing Results

On Friday, we continued our exploration of apples.  Students that wanted to had the opportunity to taste a piece of a red, yellow and green apple.

Then we had to decide which type of apple we liked the best.  We decided to organize this information using a giant floor graph.  Each student chose a paper apple that matched the color of the favorite apple they tasted and placed it on the graph.

When we finished placing apples on the graph, we observed and analyzed our information.

We determined that four students liked the yellow apple best.  There was a tie...there were eight students that liked the red apple best and eight students that liked the green apple best.  It was a very cool way for us to see the results of our apple tasting activity.
