Well, we made it through our first full day of school. Our day began with all of the kindergarten students meeting their teachers outside. There were lots of smiles, a few tears (students and parents!) and lots of excitement!
Once everyone arrived, we all went to the cafeteria to learn the procedures for having breakfast at school.
After breakfast, we went back to the classroom and learned lots of new procedures, routines and rules. It was a lot of listening and a lot of practicing!
One of the highlights of our morning was learning about the playground and practicing out there.
We also learned about eating lunch in the lunchroom. We get to choose between hot lunch, school lunch with sandwich or we can bring our own lunch from home.
There is definitely a lot for us to learn this year, but the good news is that we are on our way!
