On Tuesday, we read a story called The Gingerbread Boy by Paul Galdone. It was a really good story and it also made us hungry for some gingerbread. So……we decided to make our own gingerbread man for our snack on Wednesday.
First we needed a recipe and then we needed to gather our ingredients and tools for baking!
We learned the importance of everyone working together and how much we really needed our whole class to help out!
When we finished mixing the dough, we made our gingerbread man. Everyone helped stir the dough. We did the best we could!
Now we were ready to take him to the kitchen to go in the oven. But first, Mrs. Town stopped by to see what we were up to!
When we got to the kitchen, we asked Miss Deb to please bake our gingerbread man. We also asked her to be careful when she opened the oven door…just in case!
