This week, our kindergartners are continuing on their journey to become Managed Independent Learners. While being independent is sometimes tricky, they are all working very hard to build stamina and to be more and more independent each day. This process is important because as the students work on their activities independently, I am able to conduct small Guided Reading groups at the table and focus my attention on what these small groups need as they emerge as readers.
