We recently read the story Papa, please get the moon for me by Eric Carle. It is a sweet story about a little girl named Monica that wanted to play with the moon, so she asked her papa to get it for her. Like most dads, he did whatever he could to make his child happy so he got a really long ladder and got the moon for his daughter. We worked on a fun project to go with this story. We did the painting before our week of snow days but we were able to finish it when we returned!
