We did some work this week on collaboration. The students worked together in pairs to put together some tree puzzles. The students needed to practice working together, problem solving and communicating with each other in order to do this successfully. They did such a good job!
On Friday, we observed many different types of leaves. We noticed the shapes of the leaves. We also compared leaves. Compare means to find out how the leaves are the same and how they are different. This was interesting! When we finished our observations and comparisons, we used the leaves to make leaf rubbings. They turned out amazing!
These little scientists have been very busy observing, comparing, collaborating and recording their observations. It is so great to see them learning and having fun!
