Today in Science we started our unit on Trees. We had a discussion and made a class chart about what things we already know about trees and what things we want to learn about trees. Then came the fun part...we went outside and spent some time observing trees around the school. We touched, smelled and looked at trees. We noticed many similarities and differences in the trees we saw. When we came back inside, we shared our observations. We are very excited to learn much more about trees!
We had our first experience with Choice Time this afternoon. Some of our Choice Time activities included the imagination station, tinker toys, magnetic letters, puzzles, dramatic play in the home living area, legos, and book tubs. Everyone had a great time and we are excited to try this again tomorrow.
