Dodge Nature Center

We had a great day today.  Our field trip to Dodge Nature Center was amazing.  Many thanks to our chaperones Jim Newton, Paula Ruppert, Jamie Samuelson and Jodi Radermacher for making this trip even better.  Enjoy some fun photos from our trip!

We saw lots of pretty cool animals and learned even more about farms.  My favorite story from the day was when one of the guides asked the kids what baby pigs were called and one of our students replied, "pork chops"!  See why I love this job??

Our Last Friday in Kindergarten

Our day started with a visit from Mrs. Carl.  She stopped by to thank us for the blanket we made for her when she had her recent knee surgery.  She really likes it and we felt really good doing something nice for someone else.

Mrs. Young stopped in during writing time.  Mrs. Young is an Occupational Therapist who works at Northview.  She helps our students with lots of how to hold pencils properly, and how to strengthen our fine motor muscles.  She has been awesome helping us during Writing Workshop all year, too.

We worked on some center activities during Math.

Since it was finally nice outside, we went out to the playground after lunch for some free choice recess time and to take some class photos!
